The medicine's patient yet clear nature, paired with Ames’s calm, competent and nurturing presence, supported me through a particularly difficult and confronting spell of loss and grief. Over the course of our work together I've witnessed a dis-armouring of myself - a self-destruction of sorts. Prompting me to tune back into parts of myself I'd long ago lost touch with. Listening once again to tones of the inner voice I'd silenced. Here, I was able to hear and receive messages critical to decisions and realities of what I was facing; critical insight I will forever be grateful for.

Before my sessions I must say I was the very person who I didn’t want to be. I struggled to find my balance in life, health and heart. My Sacred Soul Journey Massage with Ames was both a healing and a guided intuitive experience, that far exceeded any expectations I had when one denotes a specific meaning to the word - massage.  From the space itself, to the curated soundscape, to the essential oils, and burnt sage and palo santo, I could feel the intention of both detail and depth, permeate the experience from the moment I walked in. I felt very comfortable and was able to relax, and being that this was my first massage incorporating plant medicine, I had no idea where the experience might take me emotionally or physically, but I felt very re assured by her energetically and verbally.  Ames’s touch throughout was almost like a dance, for it was fluid and informed and made me feel calm and energized whilst I was able to have a heightened sensory experience through the wisdom of the plants. After the session, the time to rest and tea and check in, was a great time to reflect on what came to the surface for me.  I was able to discuss some profound emotional revelations without feeling inhibited, which is such a unique characteristic of this offering.
