Q: What does a session consist of:

A: Each session is very in depth in it’s own way. Including physical touch and energetic bodywork, talk therapy, breathwork, vibrational sound healing, and guided meditation. All sessions are done in a safe sacred space for you to release what no longer serves you.

Q: How should I prepare for my session?

A: All session details will be sent to you via email prior to your session so you have time to review & absorb the information and ask any questions that may arise during our discovery call.

Q: What do I wear during the session?

A: I suggest you wear comfortable clothing to all sessions as you will be sitting or laying in a comfortable position. During an Intuitive Embodywork Session, direct skin contact is necessary. Most people undress completely but leave their underwear on. If removing all your clothes makes you too nervous and unable to relax, then please undress to your comfort level, and if you choose to leave some clothing on please choose clothes to be moveable and comfortable. I will give you privacy to undress, and get on the massage table, covering yourself with a sheet and blanket. I only undrape the area being worked on – your modesty is maintained throughout your session.

Q: How will the physical bodywork feel?

A: It’s relatable to a relaxation massage and the purpose is to rest and relax. The touch consists of me applying gentle to medium pressure of my hands & forearms to your body, gently manipulating the tissue to release tension, stir up and release blocked energy, and promote relaxation. I will cover a wide range of areas on the body including the back, neck, arms, legs and décolleté. Sometimes there is the option of adding some aromatherapy to your massage session. I only use high quality organic carrier and aromatherapy oils which can heighten the holistic experience of the bodywork session and allow for greater relaxation and restoration of one’s energy balance. Of course, unscented oil is also an option. The oil produces a more slippery surface for me to work on, so there is no pulling of the skin.

Q: What do I do during a bodywork session?

A: Make yourself comfortable! If I need to adjust your position, I will either move you or will ask you to move what is needed. Please feel free to adjust your position at any time to make yourself more comfortable. This is a very internal process, and I recommend that you close your eyes, and focus on your breath during the session. I do not speak during the bodywork portion as it may disrupt you inner journey. If you choose to talk, the choice is yours; please do whatever feels natural to you. My main goal is to ensure that you are relaxed, comfortable and warm throughout your session. Please do not hesitate to ask questions at any time.

Q: How long will a session last?

A: An Intuitive Embodywork Session is a duration of 2 hours. Please set aside uninterrupted time for you to relax and integrate into the experience. This time also allows you to get acquainted with the space and feel at ease from rushing to be anywhere right after your session.

Q: How will I feel after a session and what to expect?

A: You can feel very relaxed, pampered and possibly a little tired as you just spent the last few hours navigating through your internal waters. The benefits of a session can last awhile, but you need to give it a chance to do that. You want to integrate in a relaxed way by not planning any social gatherings or hangouts after your session. Enjoy a nice walk or warm bath but no social media or television that may be triggering or disturbing to take you out of your relaxed state. I recommend you drink plenty of water following your session as toxins are released from your soft tissues. It is also possible to have some soreness for 24-48 hours, similar to the sensation experienced after a good workout. This is a normal response within the body when circulation and detoxification is increased.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: I require 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. If notice is less than 24 hours then 50% of your session fee will apply. You can contact me by email to cancel or reschedule so that I may be able to fill the spot with another client on my wait-list.

Q: If I am sick with a cold/flu, should I still come to my session?

A: I appreciate your thoughtful consideration of this matter. If you are in the early and most contagious stage (first 24-72 hours) of a cold or flu, please do NOT come in for your session. Please email me to reschedule with as much notice as possible, so that I may be able to fill the spot with a client on my wait-list.

Other instances in which I recommend you reschedule your session would include:

  • pregnancy

  • contagious skin infection

Q: How often should I have a session?

A: This varies from person to person. I always recommend having some time in-between sessions for you to integrate, process, and apply anything that is released and made space for.

Q: How do i pay for a session?

A: I offer PAYPAL when the purchase is done online. I also accept etransfer, or cash in person at the time of your session.
