Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique that originated in China & West Asia. It has been practiced for thousands of years by placing special cups on affected areas of the body to pull the skin upward to increase blood flow. This method is used to help with a variety of issues including but not limited to: sore, cramped or tight muscles. Back, neck and body pain. Arthritis, gi disorders, headaches and migraines. Also cupping therapy removes toxins from the body, reduces pain and inflammation, improves blood circulation and increases your range of motion. It also helps to reduce anxiety by activating your parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for slowing your heart rate, assisting in digestion, and increasing intestinal and gland activity. Lastly, cupping helps with congestion by breaking up any phlegm by delivering oxygen rich blood and lymph toward your lungs and other respiratory muscles.
